Your mother graduated from the "old" Lutheran High School, at 13th and Vine (est.1903) in 1949, before Wisco existed..

...in 1951 that high school split into two (doctrinal tensions)...one being Wisco (WEL) and the other MLHS (Missouri Synod). Curiously, both still claim each is the oldest Lutheran HS in the USA....children of the same mother, I guess.

I know all that but was keeping it simple for others, btw, Harvey Kuehn was a classmate of hers so there's 1 famous alum of the HS
