According to the website, the person running the program gets whatever is left after expenses. As for the shirt itself it's certainly unique. Always interested in MU gear that doesn't say Golden Eagles anywhere.

The Dead and Pearl Jam are great in this regard. I remember there was a Dead Bootleg exchange in Ann Arbor. Some copies were 5th or 6th generation. Guys would tell you with a straight face, "I know it's a little grainy but that's Maxell Metal, man!"
