Juan Anderson's Mixtape

Hi Scoopers-

I'm a long time lurker but rarely post.  I know the board has run a campaign to donate to Al's Run in previous years.  Since I have not seen any posts looking for donations, I thought I would link my page for Al's Run/Walk.  Hopefully I am not infringing upon anyone by doing so.

We will be walking in memory of my son Peter, who was born with a rare birth defect that prevented his lungs from fully developing.  The doctors, nurses, and other staff members at Children's were incredibly kind to us during our very difficult journey while also providing Peter with the best possible medical care.  As our priest said at Peter's memorial service, though his life was short it was 18 days that changed the world.  Please help Peter's legacy live on by donating to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Thank you!

Mat Kearney playing at Al's Run.  Good stuff.

Logi4three

Just donated as well.  Thank you for the post and doing what you are doing for Childrens and children.

I am running with the official MU team.  Guess I need to start taking my training seriously.  It would be very embarrassing if Wojo and Dr. Lovell had to drag my carcass across the finish line.
Have some patience, FFS.

Still hittin' the grains, hey?

Yep, but I  think it's trying to run after drinking margaritas that is hampering my conditioning.

Who all on Scoop is running in Al's?  My wife and I are and talked most of the crew we do training runs with into it as well.
"A Plan? Oh man, I hate plans. That means were gonna have to do stuff. Can't we just have a strategy......or a mission statement."

MU Fan in Connecticut

If I lived in Milwaukee I'd definitely run.  I recall running twice as an MU student.

It's coming up the end of the race season.  This Monday, I have the big local race, the New Haven Road Race (they hold a 20K & 5K) another 5K on September 21 and have another 5K on October 5.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

We're off to a great start!  Our team has raised $560 so far, $425 from Scoop!  Thank you to all who have donated.  Still two weeks left for those still wishing to donate.

Bump...

Today would've been Peter's 2nd birthday.  Just a few days left to donate to Al's Run!  Our team is over $1,300 with over $500 coming from MU hoops fans.  If you haven't donated, please consider doing so.
