What about a Marquette version of one of the older Indiana Pacers jerseys?

Either that or we can go with something like the Golden State Warriors logo of the Bridge.  We'll just use the Hoan Bridge instead.  For the alternate jersey, we'll put the Hoan Bridge on there when it's under construction and have it littered with construction barrels, cones, and heavy traffic.  No would be able to copy that trendsetting idea.

6th street bridge would be better since it connects Africa and Mexico
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Bring back the Bumblebee's, I always thought the other coaches excuse that they about they made their players dizzy was Bullsh!t.  They didn't seem to effect our players and they had to look at them while playing too!

What made our uni's great in the 70's is that we weren't trying to relive the 40's and 50's.  Let's stop looking back and look ahead.

Tell Nike they have a blank canvas and ask them to come back with 5 sets for 2014-2015 (2 home / 2 away / 1 "both").  Some might look hideous, some may look great but I would love to take some real chances and get back to our heritage.  And to me that heritage is constantly creating heritage rather than re-living it.

Agreed.  Let's go with blue and gold metallics that shine like the Oregon football helmets.

All in favor.... say "I" .

I wouldn't mind creating a new version of this design:

I wonder how long it would take the Nuggets to rip THAT off.

these look like they come in fruit of the loom 6 packs.

It's not a matter of the Nuggets ripping them off, it's a matter of your nuggets getting ripped off when take these things off.  Look how tight they look !!!

Hahahaha we should employ some of the biggest hipsters in NYC to come up with a new skinny uni design.

wadesworld

Why the hell would we consider anything other than letting Bo Ellis design our jerseys?

Well, then Pabst will be on the main taps at the Bradley Center.

Why not just add a net set? The jerseys they have now are great. How about just a couple new alternates they wear multiple times.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

That would be the best scenario.

I think we should update them a bit, and add a set that has a script "marquette" across the chest. I really liked the Kansas and Memphis versions this year, almost like a baseball jersey font. I doubt it will happen as the current format is branded on everything else, but would be cool.

Does anyone know where I can get a Long Sleeve Marquette Warriors shirt. (XL) New!

The days of a school designing its own uniforms are done. Now it's shoe and apparel companies that call the shots.

Ari Gold

I believe the bumblebee jerseys are banned as well, but I would support bringing those back if the rules were changed.

maybe we could copy another legendary Milwaukee team's uniforms?

Is there a statute of limitations on a jersey ban? After seeing all the wild stuff the NCAA allows in football, I have a hard time believing the bumblebees would still be a problem.

These please--white w/navy lettering, navy w/gold lettering, gold w/navy lettering,
and instead of zig-zags, just make the side checkers skinnier:

Not sure what the NCAA regulations are about tucking in jerseys, but I'd trade our current valour blues
with a tucked in version of the Bo Ellis ones.  Simple, throwback, awesome look.

Marquette's administration is unlikely to allow the arrowheads going down the side.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

MikeDeanesDarkGlasses

Send it through!!!  We're being too sensitive.
