MUSF

I think he will understand the MU dynamic better than any other candidate.

Now I know that Duke has become a top national brand, but consider the following similarities to MU.

1. Duke doesn't have a lot of fan support in their own state.
2. Many hate the small private school and love the big state school(s).
3. A large portion of the student body comes from outside NC.
4. A large portion of the alumni don't stay in NC.
5. One of their most famous alums is an over the top comic actor. (just added this for fun)

I really think Wojo's perspective as a former coach and player at Duke will help him navigate the unique Wisconsin college bball environment.

I was thinking about the similarities and agree with this. I also thought about how people are saying he's the heir to Coach K's thrown in Durham, but I dream he'll follow Coach K in a different way. Coach K cemented the program at Duke through success and loyalty to the school, maybe Wojo plans on following that template here. I think the school has enough dedication to the program to keep paying his deserved salary if he continually finds success. I know it's a dream, but I'd like to be able to get emotionally attached to my coach as much as I am my school.

I doubt he'll stick around that long but...

Here are some other similarities.

Duke already had a good history before Coach K showed up.
4x Final Fours
2x National Runner-Up

Obviously Coach K took them to another level.

Hey, leave Ron Paul out of this.  No politics, remember?
Have some patience, FFS.

You are so much better than that other female poster.

It's not far off. If you look at what Coach K did he went to a different program at Duke and established it and stayed there. He didn't follow in Bobby Knights footsteps and take over at Indiana. Maybe Wojo does go back to Duke but following in Coach K's footsteps doesn't mean he necessarily does
