Oh, you made it seem like it was coming from Thamel. Atrribute tweets correctly!

I hate Goodman. Earlier he was saying Archie is 24 seconds away from becoming head coach at Marquette.

I think Goodman meant this as almost a compliment to Marquette, like "i can't believe he wouldn't even talk to them"

Wasnt a fan of this years offense but in years prior, especially in 2012 you had the patented, run own the court with Jae trailing for a 3. That was a lot of fun.

I miss our speed.  Prior to this year we would inbound from an opponents made shot and tear @$$ down the court in about 3 seconds for a quick fast break bucket.  Clearly, we were missing that this year.  Obviously our PG situation made that an issue.

Not next year! I am convinced, that no matter who the new coach is we will be seeing a heave dose of Duane and Dawson. Has a nice ring to it as well.

I have no doubt that Duane will bring that element back to our attack.  Dawson would help that as well.  Both guys have speed.  I just remember how often that worked and frustrated to watch that strategy totally sidelined this year for no reason at all.  No disrespect to DWil, he was put in a position by his coach to fail.  But I am really looking forward to the next wave of MU talent and forgetting this past year even happened.

Like Josh Pastner or Ben Howland.  Stephens and Jordan are Assistants and are young enough to use
MU as a "Stepping Stone" in a few years. Martin is fine. Tony Bennett would be super. But Pastner and Howland can recruit.

After completely rushed and haphazard consideration, I have settled on the following as my personal choices in order (of seemingly viable candidates still in play)

1. Ben Howland - has been and remains my number one choice by a wide margin.

2. LaVall Jordan - seems to have a career trajectory similar to that of Crean and Buzz, though doesn't appear to be anywhere near as big of a dick or nut job. I love the guys he has worked with/for in Beilein, Stevens, and even Lichliter...they don't come much smarter. Michigan has recruited extremely well and been extremely good while he's been there. Young. Could inject some energy back into the program.

3. Johnny Dawkins - some success, very good lineage. Don't know that he gets MU much beyond good though.

4. Cuonzo Martin - see Dawkins, Johnny.

5. Bruce Weber - fine...they'll be ok, but really underwhelming.
