What I'm about to say has absolutely no ground in any source, statistics, or even human reason...but I think Marshall sees us as a steppingstone.  Pass.

That would also apply to Shaka. You have to figure the life of any coach is about 5 years. It means he had a good un at MU, if he leaves for a bigger program.

Dont think MU is really that interested in Marshall though.

Cords is well aware of Marshall as Winthrop was part of the Blue and Gold Classic.  Winthrop actually won the title.

Not hiring a coach because they might view us a stepping stone is like not dating a girl because she's too pretty.  Just shows insecurity.  The reality is that either party may move on at some point if things aren't going right or there are better options out there.
