Lotta stuff going on campus. 6 PM game so some were still in class, Shawn Johnson was here, its rush week for all of the fraternities, first round of tests for the semester were this week a lot of reasons why students didnt show up. In terms of the "boos" I havent heard any of that (besides towards refs) from what I have heard this year is mostly the groans people have been talking about that and "get Jake out of the fu**ing game" after he misses 4 3s in a row. So if there were boos most likely they are directed at Buzz.

Absolutely heard no boos directed at our team.  Several directed at the refs, yes.  Wondering if there was some action off the ball that didn't get a call and fans were booing the refs for that, but don't know for sure.
Heard a lot of groaning, a fair amount of bitc%$ng, but no booing.

This.

But kids will be kids...the alumni must take over for them...

Similarly, with MU is struggling, who do you blame for people not wanting to cough up for game tickets and being there to cheer for MU?

I always find these comments funny. I was in the student section about three years ago. We used to complain about how the alumni never showed up on time, never got loud (except in extreme situations) and almost never stood up. I remember the student section being pretty racous during my years.

I think ever generation sees their time in the student section with rose colored glasses and thinks that their years were the best years. When in reality they are all about the same.

That being said, I agree that the lack of living up to expectations definitely is causing a down year this year. Really unfortunate. Hopefully when we finish this 10 game winning streak that bleacher report thinks we can get, easy peezie, the fans will come back.

Oh...and booing your home team...never appropriate in my opinion. You're a fan, act like it.

I sit behind MU bench (although a long way) and when Jake missed the mentioned 3 I heard a lot of groans but no boos.  Officiating was inconsistent  to say the least and I booed heartily when they missed another one in the second half.  I think Buzz misinterpreted the boos based on the situations but whatever.  I think there is a lot frustration with the team so maybe some people booed, not for me but I really don't think it is a big deal but only my opinion.
