I think Jamil is the most talented by a wide margin. I also think he has a better shot at the NBA than Vander. He is inconsistent, but so was Buycks. He has all of the intangibles and athleticism and I hope someday soon he puts them all together.
My gloom is turning on the television and seeing D. Wilson and Jake out there still starting. I get all the Buzzisms of practice, time earned, doesn't matter who starts, etc. But what we are doing isn't working; it seems like we are always working from behind. Would it be a crime to switch things up? See if kids react differently? To have Derrick out there in the end, when we needed scoring and decent free throw shooters doesn't make sense to me. I think we can turn it around, but let's use a little Sean Payton out there and switch some stuff up. Why not Jamil at point? If you're going to start Thomas, make sure Mayo is in so he can have a guy that will drive and kick it out to him, otherwise Jake is an outside passer and doesn't contribute much. We have a lot of work to do to get in the tourney, I hope this gets figured out.
