Adios. Academic problems apparently not isolated to the football team.

Edit: corrected name

MerrittsMustache

It's actually Jerian Grant. Jerami plays for Syracuse.

Regardless, I enjoy hearing Domers try to spin this into a positive since "no SEC team would suspend their star QB and star point guard!" That may be true, but no Ivy League school would allow a student who cheated to come back to school.

Technically they never were shown to have cheated, they voluntarily left the University to preserve the season of eligibility.

Correct, but as the article also states...."Curry learned that any student found guilty of cheating could be forced to sit out a year before being eligible to apply for readmission."

The school admitted that it wouldn't necessarily be permanent expulsion, but a chance to come back (not that they would take them back, but the opening was there).
