Can you dislocate an ankle?  The shoulder has a socket, so it can pop out and be popped back in.  but is this true of the ankle??

Yes.

I have this nagging itch that scratching has resulted in pus filled sores. Should I just keep gobbling Motrin and hope it goes away or start slathering Jock Itch ointment on the affected area?

Does that help with the itching or is it only for the unsightly chafing?

Nice article..

Nice kid, I think he told me he lives in Iowa. Started working on college basketball for fox sports as part of their expanding coverage/fs1/whatever else not all that long ago.

Just wish he wouldn't spell it "Gardener" a couple of times.

Apparently you can...but it is also apparently extremely rare for it not to occur without a corresponding fracture.  In the case of a fracture it is unlikely that one would be "popping it back in".
