Providence is losing Ricky Ledo before it ever even got him on the court. The 6-foot-7 wing will, according to a report in the Providence Journal, enter the NBA Draft, meaning he'll forever be somebody who attended PC but never actually played at PC.

Ledo was a partial academic qualifier this season.

He practiced with Providence but was not allowed to play.

Ledo was a consensus top-20 recruit in the Class of 2012. The prep-school product is an elite scorer whose talent is undeniable, but his ability to win and be a good teammate has long been debated. It's unclear whether he could crack the first round of this draft.

The dude was never going to be academically eligible.  Might as well take a crack at the NBA and if it doesn't work out you can always make some money and develop your game in Europe and keep trying to make it to the league.  Better than flipping burgers...

Ricky should have gone to Kentucky and played a year. It is so odd to me that he stayed at PC for a year just to leave....He is a very talented player. He could surprise people. Alot of reports about scouts seeing alot in him even at practice.

He wasn't going to play wherever he went as a partial academic qualifier.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
