Great to see two of our guys in starring roles in the most fascinating game of the NBA season so far.  Loved the hard foul by Jimmy on Wade and the announcers mentioned the Marquette connection.  Also loved the and 1 by Wade when he got bumped by Butler.  Questionable call but Wade has made a career out of finishing those plays.  Really happy for JFB.

Then turned it to the Wolves-Lakers to see Rubio get clobbered by Kobe on a 3 pt attempt at the buzzer that would have tied it.  No call - yep, good to see the NBA hasn't changed at all.

I enjoy the NBA, but there is definitely a star system in place that is beyond frustrating.

Jesus wept, this NBA style basketball is just crap.

Disagree.  NBA basketball is a much better product when it comes to just watching basketball and entertainment.

They make almost ever open shot, and the rules are tailored (No hand checking) for scoring.
I love Marquette

But if Marquette is not playing I would much rather watch an NBA game

I don't get guys who love basketball but hate the NBA. To me that's like a carnivore who doesn't like a bone in rib eye or a guy who loves all women except the really pretty ones.

Personally, i love the intensity and team dynamics in college-ball much more than the finesse that comes from pro-ball.

I'm not arguing preference. Some guys prefer the girl next door to the supermodel. I just don't get guys who like to look at girls making an exception when it comes to the prettiest.

I agree.  The NBA has a much longer season so it's understandable, but their isn't that do or die intensity in each game like you see in many college games.  I'm also not a fan of the 24 second shot clock.

Badgerhater

If more NBA games had the intensity of this one then perhaps I would watch more of them.

Most games, everyone simply goes through the motions.

That dunk was beyond awesome.  Definition of posterized for Bosh.

TallTitan34

JGB (The G stands for gets) is really making the one handed alley oop his thing.

Galway Eagle

That JFB dunk was just a preview of what MUBB does to Miami.  One Miami team down one to go.
