Buzz is a 3 vs a 14 and still gets to play the underdog, no respect card??!  Wow, he's loving this and so am I.

You said MU hadn't played well its last 4-5 games.

That's cool by me.  Less points I'll have to give up :)

Exactly.... if I were on my way to Vegas, I'd be ecstatic right now.  It's hard to be a gambler and a fan sometimes because you don't want to bet against your team and you don't want to be giving up a bunch of points when all you really want is a win.  This is smart money, people.  It's not Vegas that disrespecting Marquette, it's all of the idiots who are betting on Davidson.

I'd rather be disrespected and have a few more dollars in my pocket.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

If I had to pick two experts I'd trust the most from that list, it would be Parrish and Cleaves.  And lo and behold, they took MU.  And if I had to choose between letting my cat swat colored mice to determine winners or the bracket of Doyel, Norlander, or Palm, I'd go with the kitty.

Gary also picked Wisconsin & VCU to go to the Final Four.  That's not where I'm putting my trust.

Maybe it is a personal pet peeve, but I can't stand the disrespected angle that is so overly prevalent in sports.  If players want to use it to motivate themselves, I guess that is fine, but reading these boards it is over the top. The team just got a three seed, there is no slight.

The problem can be the three seed.  A team can be happy with that accomplishment.  Then, just when you're patting yourself on the back, the experts come along to say; "Yeah, but you're gonna lose to a 14 seed."  I like it as a vaccination, if you will, against complacency.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Which is what happens to us when we get a decent lead; and we have yet to play a full 40 minutes of good basketball.

Combination of people betting Davidson and also watching us away from the Bradley Center of late.  Last three games, narrow wins over Rutgers and St. John's, loss to Notre Dame.  We are a much different team away from the BC.
