From our boy, A Jersey Guy, who will undoubtedly will receive an honorary degree  from each of the C7 schools majoring in up-to-dateness with a minor in reliability

*NYC is looking like the compromise between Providence and DC (plus it's closer to Fox)--"[nyc] was the midway compromise"
*They're speeding up the process on the new commissioner
*Butler Xavier are "locks."
*"10th team looks like Creighton, although Dayton is getting some support...[t]he overall plan will be to eventually expand to 12 teams.  Dayton would be in that mix, but so would Saint Louis and Georgetown is making a STRONG push for Richmond." (emphasis mine)

Anybody have any idea who is pulling so strongly for Dayton?    I've seen that there are strong ties between MU and Creighton, but have not seen anything between Dayton and even one of the other schools.

Perhaps this question has an obvious answer and I'm missing something blatant, but which schools are supporting/pushing for the Dayton addition?
The Flutie Effect: "A significant and positive correlation between a university having a successful team and higher quality of incoming freshmen, alumni donations, and graduation rates."

“All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.” - T.E. Lawrence

I know that we like to pick on Dayton, but between them, SLU and Richmond, they are all basically the same.  I wouldn't have a problem with who is left out.  And if Georgetown wants Richmond to have a good east/midwest balance, that is fine.

I also read on some message board that St. John's was pushing for Dayton.  I still think it's the same 5 in the end if it goes to 12 with Richmond on the outside looking in.

Hey man, where is Larry House in the Creighton signature?!
