I don't trust any list that has Milwaukee rated worse than Gary, Indiana.

Lake County, IL at #10.  Take that, you Lake Forest snobs!
Have some patience, FFS.

Lots of good players in Detroit, Chicago, Flint, St Louis and New York City - per this survey they'll be moving up in class and down in misery by moving to Milwaukee. This IS good for recruiting.

I just love the picture they chose. Perfect in about a half dozen ways.

Two things

1)  I'd like to meet the recruit that picks a college based on a Forbes ranking of miserable cities (or can tell me what Forbes is) that furthermore....

2) Appears to be based on employment, housing price trends, and taxes.  Chicago, NYC, and many warm weather cities all up higher on the list.

I dunno. Most college basketball recruits are pretty concerned with the housing market and property taxes of their college city.

Yeah, none of this stuff matters to a college basketball recruit.  Although if they come out with a list that ranks colleges by hot coeds, palm trees, easy classes and campus bars we might be in trouble.

As long as we can still look down at Chicago (#4) and Rockford (#3), life will go on.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

With Lake County at #10, traffic has to be included. The worst county to drive in.

Typically hot coeds, palm trees, etc don't correlate to most of those cities on the list.

This explains why Michael Jordan is selling his bungalow in Highland Park, for a mere asking price of $21 million.
