The article links to Glockner's current bracket projections which have Marquette as a #3 in the West, facing Valpo (14), UNLV (6), Gonzaga (2), and Miami (1).   Yes please.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

I would love that bracket.
I think Miami would kill MU, but at least we'd be in the Elite 8 playing them.

Doesn't Luke Winn have some kind of connection to MU?  Am I remembering this correctly?

MuMark

So Winn has no problem with the Zags as a 1 seed........

I wouldn't mind playing Miami, last few weeks they haven't looked as intimidating.

Pakuni

UNLV, if they show up, could be a tough second-round matchup. They have size and talent.

I believe he is just from the state of Wisconsin...

Goose

I want nothing to do with Miami. Struggle of late or not I do not see them a good matchup at all.

He's from Fort Atkinson and I believe went to Northwestern.  I read either here, or on the IWB board, that his dad is a longtime Badger season ticket holder.

This matchup would be in the Elite 8.  Based on other 1/2 seeds I could live with a matchup against Miami on the West coast for a shot at a Final 4.

Was speaking in general terms. I think plenty of ball to be played before we know on our seeding. Think E8 is longshot at best and I guess whoever we played would be fine by me if we get there. This fan hopes for us making second weekend.

and maybe someone with a better match-up takes them out first

PGsHeroes32

I would not like that. Unlv is poised to get hot and have a load of studs.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

I must say, I'm always impressed by Luke Winn's polls.  I may not always agree with them, but he does his homework and has a reason to back everything up.  Refreshing compared to the USAtoday/SID poll which comes out every Monday.
