My dad coaches basketball for a very good program in Illinois and they would run into Simeon in super-sectionals. They always said they would much rather play Jabari and Simeon than Okafor and Whitney. Now is Jabari a very good play? Absolutely, however I do agree that he is not the second coming of Lebron like everybody seems to think. I would love to see him in a Marquette uniform but in terms of everybodys perspective of him he is overrated.

Not a troll, been an avid reader, infrequent poster.  I apologize but I thought these boards are a good medium to post thoughts and see what other people think.  Didn't know it needs an in depth analysis.  It makes me laugh when those that take this forum way to seriously describe my opinion as insane!!!

I don't remember being put on blast or belittled when I first started posting here. Maybe it's not so much the "every first time poster" as it is first time posters that post things in the wrong forum or start a thread like "Jabari Parker is overrated, that is all." It's an obvious attempt at trolling, it's in the wrong part of the site, and it's simply inane. If a new poster comes on and is willing to express their opinions in a logical, coherent manner and doesn't seem to be winding up just for the sake of it, I think there are rarely the problems you speak of. But to act like this is anything other than an obvious attempt to start a pointless debate is simply silly.

Are you sure you meant to respond to me? Who said anything about being "put on blast" or belittled? Or suggested the OP wasn't trolling?
