Yes. Homer and Buzz talked about it on this week's radio show (Tuesday night). Homer said then that he would give Vander a standing ovation when he finally got a charge.

That being said, it hasn't been a recurring theme.  Buzz brought it up for the first time this week and mentioned in his post game interview with Homer that he uses platforms like that knowing that people will tweet at his players what he says and hopefully motivate them.

When they called the charge, I turned to my wife and said I would not of called a foul there. The Seton Hall player barely made contact with Vander and he flopped. Vander got a lucky call. I did not realize he has never taken a charge. He still has not in my book.

Vander probably took plenty of charges "in your book".  But Buzz didn't count 'em because the refs didn't give him the call.

What does this have to do with pessimism. I thought MU got a lucky call. I had no idea at the time that it was Blue's first charge taken. Besides that saying he flopped was the wrong term. That implies that Vander was trying to get the ref to call a charge. Vander fell over trying to avoid contact. At least that was the view from my seat. My seat is directly behind the opposing players bench and I had no idea that Buzz was excited about Vander taking the charge, because Buzz is not generally in my line of sight. I have learned that where you sit effects what you see. I seen fouls called in person, that I have said no way that was a foul. When I go home and re-watch the game on TV, I can see a foul from the TV angle that I could not see from my seat.

Maybe pessimism was the wrong word. Let's go with negative. The post was fluffy in nature yet you managed to break down the charge call and conclude that it was erroneous and that Blue should count his blessings.
