This is just pointless, because it means little to either party. If the kid doesn't pan out, they pull the scholarship. If better schools offer more money career opportunities, the kid can easily switch that, too. A lot can happen in the 3 years before they can sign.

But we're talking about it, and best case they're in on the ground floor with a superstar who, with any luck, feels a sense of loyalty.
