SMU fires AD
« on: May 17, 2012, 02:52:05 PM »
Please move to Superbar if this isn't MU-related enough. Kind of interesting, given what happened recently.

Andy Katz tweet:

"College athletics soap opera continues as SMU announces AD Steve Orsini is out. Staff he just hired in hoops in the dark, has no idea why."

They're going to hire the Texas AD, SMU18 said it's basically a done deal.

Are you sure it wasn't SMU19?  or was it SMU17?  I can't keep those guys straight.....it's like the Hanson Brothers for God's sake.

And Buzz breathes a sigh of relief that he folded when Larry Williams called his bluff.

hopefully, then hire someone who knows that his place is 2nd fiddle to Buzz.

Maybe Papa Scott can get replaced as well because he is 2nd fiddle to Buzz too.

Perhaps MU fans with Twitter accounts can start spreading the Larry Williams to SMU "rumor."  Consider it an experiment seeking to evaluate the power of social media.

Orsini didn't hire Brown. That's why he's gone.

He thought he had Buzz locked up. Would have been a coup.
