Al McGuire to the Bucks

I was just thinking, this reminds me a little bit of what I've heard about Al McGuire wanting to coach the Bucks. It was long before my time, but was wondering if there were some parallels to that situation and the current one at MU.

Al was pretty steamed at the administration about it. He said "The priests at Marquette take a vow of poverty, and they expect you to abide by it."

I'm not sure how deep the bitterness between Al and the administration was, and how long it took for them to patch things up. Hopefully if Buzz stays, they can patch things up and get on the same page. I'm really hoping Buzz is here for a long time.
