Drove by the BC.  There were kids lined up outside.

Always are.

I have to question your understanding of the definition of the word 'always'.

Say what you want about the GU crowd, but we got nothing on their message board: our game thread is only 4 pages long.

The MU-GU game thread at HoyaSaxa?

25...and counting.

I didn't tally the # of pages that contained bitching. ;)

This thread (next saturday) will be about how disappointed everyone is that so many people left while we were celebrating Jae and DJO's time at Marquette.  I'm always disappointed that more people don't stick around for the ceremony.

I was so wrong.

I'm really glad that so many people stuck around for the ceremony!  Really a great send-off for our boys :)

The refs called the game very inconsistently.  I think both sides have a bit to complain about... but we didn't have any of our dudes foul out :)

That was a HORRIBLY officiated game.  I normally like Driscoll, but he had a bad game.  Donato, IMHO, is an inconsistent official.  I have not watched Beaver - or noticed him - before, but he was the tickiest of tac.

I think both teams could blame the refs today.  Never let a flow get into the game.  Inconsistent with their calls.  Made for a long game.  The only other time I thought it was officiated this poorly was the Nova game at their place.

I think Donato is pretty good in general, just had an off day today.   The first 8 minutes of the second half were pretty terrible, more so for them than us, but just too ticky tac all around.

They sucked something fierce all game, that was apparent from the 400 level.  The good guys won though, so the GU tears are sustenance tonight.

Rarely will you see me watching WWC basketball, but did anyone see the San Francisco coach get a T for clapping at the referee tonight? Buzz would be toast with that guy.

I am not a fan of Donato.  He is far too inconsistent a ref for my taste.  I cringe when I see him.  Oddly, I would substitute Driscoll for Donato in your statement.
