I'm willing to give this cat a fair shake. And if he's the real deal, then props to the dude who recruited him. How's that?

My how gracious of you.

The kid sounds like a good one, and just what we need.

I was actually thinking that the other day.

Some people believe the UW is great at recruiting big men and have established a chain of getting them (which is true).

BUT, you could also argue that they have a log jam, while MU is/has been wide open for a big to come here an succeed.

I guy it just depends on how you slice it.

I really don't know why more big guys haven't come to MU. I know a lot of people speculate it's because of Crean and his offense, but I think that's just a conveniant thing to blame and so most people go for it.

Truth be told, we are dealing with 18yr old kids who have lot of different choices because they have been blessed with height and athletic ability. MU isn't always going to win the recruiting war. Also, we have probably lost out on more guards than big men, but it goes unnoticed because there are so few quality big men out there.
