Same step Texas A&M took.

Also, Missouri Chancellor Brady Deaton, the conference's public face through its recent turmoil, is resigning as chairman of the Big 12's board of directors to avoid the obvious conflict of interest.
“All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.” - T.E. Lawrence

This is the best (of many bad) scenarios. If mizzou stayed in the big 12 it makes them stronger an the sec has to go west Virginia or take an acc team (if still possible with the 20 million buyout) so that the acc has to take another big east team.

still a tough football landscape, but if even equal revenue sharing couldn't keep mizzou then I believe beast teams have to at least think twice about a b12 invite, and if they do take smu and byu, then possibly even look at Houston and Memphis if they want 12, that works out.

The lesser of several possible evils.

Now we need to hope conferences continue to determine they don't want to share revue with extra teams to form 16-team superconferences.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

A big factor in this is the fact that if the SEC adds an additional team (missouri) they can renegotiate their TV deal (signed in 2008).  They will bring in big $'s that way and would likely blow away the Pac12's deal and would be way more than any equal revenue sharing in the Big12.
