"Mundane" doesn't even begin to describe what an entry level television sports reporter does.    It's a tough industry.

Is it mundane or tough. If a job is mundane, it would be repetitive and boring. A tough job is one that usually challenges an individual. You're kind of going in two seperate directions. I guess some people don't know how to quote on a website correctly, and others don't know how to express their thoughts.

Sorry I started all this, we really need the season to start soon.  As I said to begin with, I think Brad did a great job at MU and I think he will do great at WXYZ.  The rest was just a little fun teasing from someone who went to a rival high school.  Good luck Brad.

That's fair enough. I agree, good luck Brad

I've never known an entry-level position that wasn't a bit mundane.  It doesn't mean that you're not willing to put forth the time and effort to get to exactly where you want your career to be, though :)

Another great report by Brad.  I'd wish him luck, but his hard work is making his own luck!

Thank you for the supportive comments and kind notes.

I'm really looking forward to my new role with WXYZ. I would NOT be anywhere near where I am today without the fine people at Marquette who opened their hearts to me.

I could go on for days talking about Buzz Williams and the role he played in my development in college, but I won't dive into that too much here. I will say how fortunate I am to have worked and to have built such a strong relationship with him. I got to do things my peers across the country couldn't have imagined doing. Williams, the Marquette Athletics staff, and my college student-athlete peers were tremendous each day, each interview, and with each interaction. They didn't have to be. But they helped enhance my belief in how to treat people every moment of the day.

Thanks for your backing over the years. As a member of the "media," I always kept in mind that I was serving you all the past four years. Your critiques, feedback, and reception helped drive me. I look forward to remaining in this MU community, and will certainly be back for games all season long (for years to come).

Heck, when Jimmy, Lazar, (hopefully) Steve, Wes, and Dwyane come to town, maybe I can have some fun and shoot a little MU-based interview for you all!

I'll be posting my work on WXYZ.com primarily, with my @BradGalli Twitter account and BradGalli.com website also hosting my work.

I'm glad to be home in Detroit, but I also feel very blessed to now know I can always call Marquette home too.
Would be nowhere without the support of the Marquette community. Can't beat the MU family.

Rooting for Lazar, Jimmy, Steve, Wes and Dwyane always. Go Buzz.
