The Big East is just looking to leverage the addition of the Marquette Lacrosse team in 2013 to sweeten the deal.

At a time when the shiny thing of assault charges seems to attract all the attention, this is real news.
A lock up of a longterm $$ deal better assures BE stability, and for MU in the BE.
