Quality of play was much higher in the Butler-VCU game.

Butler's got to be the favorite Monday.

Also, Mack only played 30 minutes.  It appeared to me Stevens was saving him and expected to win without max effort from him.

Butler may well win, but no way they'll be the favorite.

Agreed, the VCU-BU game was better played though with out a doubt.

You're right.  There is a Turkish word for "should be the favorite but won't be."  I can't think of it right now, but, if I call correctly, it loosely translates to 'never bet the Dallas Cowboys.'

UConn played a sloppy game, but if their threes were falling, they would have smoked Kentucky. They'll be the favorite, and if their shooting touch returns on Monday, they'll have a good shot to cut down the nets.

Considering UK had 21 1st half points vs. MU's 15 vs. UNC...that was how bad this game was.  2nd half may have been worse but both teams are underclass heavy (tight). Will MU have beaten the national champion? Or beaten the team who beat the national champions twice?  MU actually would match-up well against both these F2 teams but was missing that team cohesion and that one go-to PG.

It seems like when Kentucky played zone at the beginning of the second half they were making Napier take shots.  He did not look comfortable at all.  He missed his shots and there was no indication that he would start making shots.  Then Kentucky just left the zone.  I would have stayed in the zone until they solved it.  I never saw UConn solve the zone.

This kind of thing in that game made no sense.

Looking forward to Mack and Walker.  Should be a good final.

We woulda beaten both their asses.
