Thank you kindly.  My fault...I am wrong (ners, take note).  I will edit appropriately.

Ners, unfortunately Mbao's school was on the list several years ago.  One out of two ain't bad.

Fair enough and apology duly noted.  I'll see if I can return the favor of an apology/I was wrong in another thread sometime soon.

Can somebody explain to me how a kid that goes to NDP or now St. Johns military gets to play
4 years in college after the year at the prep school.  These are really glorified junior colleges?
So why not 3 years, in makes no sense.  Sure it is good for the kid, he improves his stock, gets
a better offer, but... secondly, was Todd Mayo recruitable out of high school, did he have the
grades???  What was his reason for going to NDP?

Prep schools often cater to international kids or other first generation to-be college kids who need an adjustment period. They are typically four year high schools with also a year post-graduate program. The extra year prepares the student for a college life they were never prepared for--a year away from home, focus on how to study, how to take or pass the ACT, how to adapt to a life no one in your family has ever experienced. Basically, how to succeed in study and life. Are they sports mills?  Most likely as that is the golden ticket out for these kids.  I believe Notre Dame Fitchburg is a school who also specializes in learning disabilities--and you can make your own judgements on that and the kids who attended there to play basketball.

Welcome to MU....pass me the Mayo!
