BYU is up 47-42 on New Mexico at half time and Jimmer has 33 pts on 14-20 shooting. So people dont want BYU because they are afraid of Jimmer doing what hes doing. Well I want them for this reason. They are still only up 5 because without Davies they lack the inside presence and if Jimmer is taking that much of the offense they really dont have another scoring threat.

I say bring on BYU and let us get them in foul trouble with the lack of a big man and quality depth.

We have enough trouble guarding the 3 without facing a guy who can score out to 30 feet.   Oh, yeah, I forgot, we will be guarding the other team out to 30 feet whether they can hit the shot or not.    Seriously, though, we are going to have to beat one of the big boys to get to the second weekend.   BYU is as good a choice as any.

Let's "bring on" our second round opponent after we win in the first round.  No matter who we play, it's going to be tough.  Which MU team will emerge in the tournament?

PGsHeroes32

Clearly you have to win the 1st game but its just nice having a good road to that coveted sweet 16. Last year we got a good 3 seed match up, sadly we couldnt hold of washington.

Im just saying BYU would be my top choice of 2 seeds. But they need to win tonight for that to happen.

I think we have the potential to be the Washington of this years tourney.

I don't disagree.  Who would guard Jimmer?  Jimmy?  Jimmy on Jimmer  lol

Norm

We don 't remotely have the guard play or inside game that Washington had last year.

Junior on Jimmer?   Jimmy on Jimmer?  Jae on Jimmer? Jamil on Jimmer?   Vander on Jimmer?    Oy.
