OT: UWM

As a grad of Milwaukee Normal, it would be nice to see them put together a couple of wins and get into the field.  Question for the MU grads?  Are you rooting for UWM, or do you hold the same disdain for them as the State School to the West?

Personally, I have never thought of UWM and MU as rivals, as we shared a common enemy...

It depends on what we do tonight. If we win, then I think we are a lock and I will probably cheer for UWM. I've read some who think Butler will get in as an at-large. If we lose I'd want Butler to win it all so that the Horizon doesn't get two bids.

I don't have a huge problem with UWM. We don't go up against each other for recruits much, if at all. I don't think a bid every few years would change anything. Plus it gives us a better looking win on the resume if they win the tourney.

I guess I'd say I'll root for UWM only because it would help our RPI.

As a team and school, I tend to root against them.  UWGB, on the other hand, with Brian Wardle as coach, I'll root for.  -- Unfortunately, they are pretty bad this year.

For MU, the perfect world is a Butler/UW-M final with Butler winning. But if UW-M does win, it gives us a win over a tourney team, also a positive. All I really care about is that they make the final. Beyond that, I'm neutral.

I have no problem with UWM and cheer for them except for when they play MU of course.  My 2nd favorite team in WI, and I'm from northwestern WI.

I want UWM to win and get into the NCAA tournament.  I like the team and Jeter.
