Ah, I'd like to share you dudes enthusiasm. But, MU wins based on what? Maybe it's just me being cynical or maybe just reality. Marquette hasn't shown me anything this season (other than the Bucknell game) that suggests they're ready, willing, and able to turn it up a few notches when needed.

Exactly my thinking. I definitly feel we are good enough to pull of this win, but based on other performances theres no reason to expect anything other than 30-35 minutes of highly competitive bball(probably with us leading by 7-10 for a portion) only for us to be nailed into the coffin in the final 5-10. It happens all too often to expect anything differnt. Its actually creepy.

Over the last 4 years, players have come and gone but somehow we lose the same way everytime. 3 straight tourney heartbreakers in a row as well as a BET one. And the last couple years in conference play....games have been exactly the same and everytime I think to myself were bound to get one of these...but it doesnt happen. I thought the same thing in the "toss up" washington game last year, but what happens? Our hearts are broken the same way as the 2 years prior.

Marquette will beat UCONN.  It will be a hard fought contest, but MU will prevail.

Oh get off your high horse. And for the record, "serious discussion" and sports "message board" should never be in the same sentence.

Fair enough, I'll revise what I said.

Look at everything he writes. He hasn't had one good thing to say about MU in his overwhelming 15 posts. Frankly, it annoys me when people are trying to have a discussion backed up by facts and reasons and someone who has never had anything positive to say about Marquette comes out with "haha they won't win."

If that's his contribution to the board then he should just not post anything

Very prescient analysis by the "Master" in this post.  Ha ha... they did win and Vegas is looking for your money.

Kudos to you haha.

I didn't hold me breath.  But I did stand in front of the TV for the entire second half and OT :)

MU Fan in Connecticut

My 9 yr old kept yelling "Miss it!" during UConn free throws.  It echoed in the XL Center.

They can do it, but I believe they must improve on their 3 point shooting.

This is the Big East.  4-20.  3 Pt. %=BS.  Guard's game, or big man's game=BS.  Grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind together.

Well done MUFiC Jr.

I figure since MU Fan in Connecticut once wore a Batman outfit to a Marquette-Notre Dame game and used to yell lines as a student such as "Rip out his spleen!" that she has some tradition to follow.
