Regarding the staff.

Despite it being heretical to root against my second favorite team, I was hoping that Doc Sadler would get canned at Nebraska this year so he could shift over as an assistant at MU.  Sadler is also from the Gillespie/Texas family.  Sadler's teams play amazing, hard nosed defense.  Unfortunately, he's done enough to save his job in Lincoln.

Don't give me your pro town crap since you live in the LA metro area and they can't even support an NFL team.

In your line of thinking, we shouldn't recruit JUCOS and Buzz should have a built in excuse to be sheltered for a few more years. The bottom line is that they had much better ball handlers that changed directions very well and our guard play isn't as good as it was the last 5 years.

1)  Happy belated Valentine's Day.  Hope you got the roses I sent

2)  I don't condone the booing, they're kids.  I simply gave a plausible reason.  In the cities I've lived in and the events I've traveled to, the "college town" fans are a bit more forgiving but perhaps a bit more bumpkinish as well.  Take that for what it's worth

3)  Great example with L.A.   ::)   If you knew anything of the history of L.A. and it's staunch support of TWO NFL teams for a long period of time....insert Al Davis and Georgia Frontierre and you'll know why things happened the way they did.  In the mean time, L.A. supports two baseball teams at 3 million attendance PER, 2 NBA teams, 2 NHL teams, not to mention UCLA and USC all while the weather here is usually 70 to 80 degrees, beaches, etc, etc.

4) My line of thinking?  How about I answer my line of thinking for myself, that usually cuts down on the confusion and the interpretation...thanks.  My line of thinking is that MU has more high rated recruits on this team than we've had in DECADES. I read so here and on the internet so it must be true.  I agree with that our guard play isn't as good...I've always been a GUARDS MAKE A TEAM go in college type of guy, so you'll get no argument from me there.  Which begs the question, why don't we have that many good guards yet have what seems an endless roster of guys that are "interchangeable" and do the exact same thing?  I think the staff is responsible for these things, but not quite sure..  This team is young in terms of DI experience, but it also has the talent to play with anyone but trouble closing.  From a staff perspective, it seems to me we come out of the half time break and we are a different club.  Is it lack of adjustments, are guys gassed in the second half, are we as good or better than other teams but for only 35 minutes of each game?
