Not even sure what to say after that game. Probably one of the most melancholy wins I can remember. MU did everything they could to lose that one.

Hards Alumni

Lucky for us we played USF.

One word to describe that game: bad

LON

Stan Heath channeling Lovie Smith with the TO call.

GoPanthers33

Completely ridiculous...but a win is a win and it would've been a tournament resume killing loss...

JamilJaeJamailJrJuan

Just an absolutely hideous game. But hey, take the W and move on.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

WarriorHal

It's not often a win feels more like a loss. Free throw shooting...unbelievable.

Dish

Just a horrendous basketball game to watch. MU was absolutely awful for three/fourths of this game, embarassing FT shooting, and got incredibly lucky when Heath called that timeout when that game tying 3 got hit.

I guess it's a W, but it doesn't feel like it.

Just as there are no moral victories and good losses, there are no bad wins. Especially on the road, in conference at a place that's been a house of horrors for your team lately.
Last I checked, this one counts the same in the standings as the win over DePaul. I'll take it.

Ugliest win in MU bball history? I can't think of an uglier one

Niv Berkowitz

It's a road win and in two weeks, its just another W; just as Louisville is just another L.

Team hasn't shot this poorly from the line all year so I'll take the W and wait for the guys to get back home. I think the long layoff didn't help either.

Normally I'd agree with you, but not with this MU team, and not this season. MU really played down to the competition tonight, which has been against the norm of MU in conference play thus far. Psyche of this team needed a good game/effort tonight, considering a week off, and a trip to DC on Sunday.

It may count as a W, but it was a bad one.

Jacks DC

I don't know how many times I said "it's happening again" at the end.  DJO, are you kidding me?  WTF?

I should not feel the need to drink to get over a win.
