Anyone making it through this ice storm to the Pavilion tomorrow?

Even though Nova haven't lost there in 4 years, I think we can hang and maybe get lucky towards the end.  Last year was a great comeback which came up just a little short.

Also, I have a great extra seat next to me in 8th row behind our bench lower level and on the aisle.  I lucked into finding the pair, and they're just about the best seats in the house.  I should be able to flip it easily outside, but would much rather sit next to a MU fan.  Unlike the debacle of the Pavilion's upstairs I sat in last year, these seats actually have seatbacks and legroom.  PM me if you are looking for a ticket or want to upgrade to this one.

Anyone going to the game?  I imagine any MU pre-gathering will be dead due to the weather?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's been less than 4 years. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's been less than 4 days. Georgetown beat them at The Pavilion on Saturday.

Nope, that was at the Wells-Fargo in Philly (used to be Wachovia) which is 2.5 times bigger than the Pavilion in Villanova.  Espn lists the Pavilion at the top incorrectly on that game summary, so I see where you got that.  The Pavilion reminds me of a mini Joyce Center.

Just over 4 years since they lost there.  Believe it's the longest in the nation for a specific home venue.

Last win there was Cincy a few weeks ago... http://www.villanova.com/sports/m-baskbl/recaps/010911aaa.html

"Villanova upped its winning streak at The Pavilion, its cozy 6,500-seat on-campus arena, to 45 straight. The streak began on Jan. 17, 2007, and now includes 19 wins over Big East teams."

Nova also hosts Pitt on Gameday at the Pavilion this Saturday, so we would get a huge amount of press this weekend if we can sneak out a win there.  Gonna be a tough one.

Most everywhere I looked, including kenpom.com, sportsillustrated.com, a betting preview site, and ticket broker sites all had it listed as The Pavilion. However, at least one person had a correction comment saying it was at Wells-Fargo. Amazed how many places had it listed as The Pavilion. Methinks 'Nova has to do a better job of marketing where they play their home games.

Was on 'Nova site and they listed the games before and after ours as being in Philly, but our game as being in Villanova, PA.
