"Traditional" Anthem

Not trying to cause any trouble, but given some of the recent threads on this board I found humor in this article, particularly in the wording and subsquent fall-out. Since the primary posters who would be bickering on a thread like this are in time-out, I thought it would be OK to post it.

I hope that video is the "traditional" version.  Girl's got pipes and sounds awesome. If thats the version that is essentially "too black" then complainers and the school need to get their ears, and more importantly brains checked

Yeah, not sure what the complaint is.  She did a nice job.  Sounded like a high school kid who has some talent that could mature into a really nice singing voice.

Agree.  I thought she did a very nice job.  Hell, I thought she stayed true to the song more than most people these days.
