I don't get the big deal.  If a kid wants to play and it doesn't look like he's going to get very many minutes with the current team, why not transfer?  You only get one shot at a college career.  If it means that the coach erred when recruiting the guy, well, all coaches make these mistakes.  What's the big deal?  If the kid wanted to stay and was harrassed into leaving, then I have a problem.  But nobody really knows what goes on between coach and player except coach and player, and I'd just as soon give everybody the benefit of the doubt unless there is a compelling reason not to.

But that takes away so much ammo from the haters....that's why it's important to them.
