someone mentions that his High School was called KING'S FORK!
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I feel ashamed of myself, sort of like I've gone over to the AnotherMU84 side.

it doesn't help the fact you just quoted your own post.   :P

You may want to get a hobby!  When you post six straight posts (like you did in another thread) you've got way too much time on your hands!

I heard from a cousin of a Cheerleader who is close to MU's athletic trainer that a famous alumni will be consulting for MU on holding down Devante's weight. That consultant will be none other than:

Is there any footage of Gardner running? Would be interested in seeing the dude move. Pretty certain Buzz wants his offense to get up and down the court.

Dejuan Blair was a big man at Pitt.. he didn't have any problems moving

Before we let numbers put opinions in our heads... let us allow the kid to get to school.

Here is a video of King's Fork. I am assuming that Davante is #54 since he is by far, the biggest guy on the court.

From the video, he definately needs to drop quite a bit and lift. Not running the floor like I'm certain Buzz wants him to.

That video is from March 2009.

...which is why he wasnt heavily recruited during his junior year.

Warrior3211

Glad to hear that was from March 2009 because he can barely get up and down the court.  He looks like one heck of a scorer with quick footwork, but it doesn't even look like his feet ever leave the ground when shooting and rebounding.

The biggest concern from this video was his lack of transition D.  I think there were two times he was the only man back in a transition situation and both times the effort to stop his opponent looked lack luster.

16 months and 25 lbs ago.   I wasn't impressed with the video, either, when it was posted several weeks ago.   I don't want the kid in that video.    But he has already lost 25 lbs, he averaged a double-double in the top classification in Virginia.   He has offensive skills.    A summer in Todd Smith's boot camp probably takes off another 15-20 lbs.   Everyone who has watched Buzz for the last 2 years knows that this kid will not play until he plays defense to Buzz' standard.  He may be a project who doesn't play much as a freshman.   But, like Yous, if you are going to take a flyer, make it a big flyer.   Don't bring in a Trend Blackledge when you can late-sign a 7'2 stick and a 6'9, 300lb Ox.   Those can develop into something.

What kind of idiot would have taken a flyer on Trent?
