Interesting.  I'm actually pulling for Washington.  I want them to blow them out.

Litehouse

I'd rather see Washington win also, makes them look more legit.  I also think New Mexico is overrated.

PGsHeroes32

we should be going to the Sweet 16. UNM is nothing special at all as exbited by getting beat by 10 right now and we just got Washington on their best shooting night of the year and gave away a 15 pt lead. Im pissed. This would be easily my favorite tourney ever had we won.

UW shooting 56% and separating vs. NM.  MU got a favorable 6 seed, but UW was way, way underseeded.  How does a Pac 10 Tournament champ with their overall record and the strong end of the season run get an 11 seed?  Guerrero is from UCLA too.  Pac 10 was bad, but UW was preseason Top 10 in some polls.

Same. Is Wash blows them out is only makes us look better even though I think we all know we could take New Mexico.

It is really painful watching Washington work over the Lobos because I firmly believe we would have done the same.  New Mexico couldn't hang with us or Washington.  Which makes Thursday night even that much more painful.  Uggghhh.

I guess that's why I'm pulling for New Mexico.  Watching UW pound them only makes the reality that we were that close to the Sweet 16 sting even more.

More than anything, I'm pulling for Northern Iowa!!!!

Yes, I think most of us can agree to cheer for No. Iowa... it will screw my bracket but it would be worth it.   ;D

Markusquette

Screw brackets, go UNI!

Muhoops85

Didn't MU beat last years Northern Iowa team by like 40 in the Chicago Classic?

I'm beginng to think our game was an 8-9 dressed up as a 6-11.

Alford is lame, Go Wash

Based on the results, our game was a 5-6 with the winner playing an 8 seed.

Frustrating, a lot of people felt who ever won our UW-MU game would go to the Sweet 16.  Grrr

patso

I'm still disturbed that we were in the East bracket and Washington got a west coast home venue when they were seeded 5 slots below us. The "committee" I suspect does not consider MU as one of its perennial pets.

I, along with many here were of this belief..I trust Pomroy ratings tremendously and he had New Mexico as 47..a far way down from MU at 28 and Wash at 29...what could have been...and to think we likely would have had a rematch with WVU to advance to the Elite 8...just makes the loss to Wash hurt even more

I still like our seed.  UW's seed - not so much.  They're much better than an 11. >:(

Spaniel with a Short Tail

I'm for Washington.  The further they go, the better we look.  Agree their seeding was bogus.

marqfan22

I don't get "the better we look" assessment. Who is actually going to look back and say that? We lost. No one is talking about us and next year's preseason hype will not factor that we lost in the first round, but it was to a good Washington team..
