Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

What the hell is with all the attention for UConn?  They're still under .500 in league play.

Probably because they've just won over Villanova and WVU and have Calhoun back at the helm.

Glad Rivals used a shot of Buzz from early in a game.  Not sure why Missouri was included in the bubble watch article, though.  ?-(

Windyplayer

How can the PAC-10 be so bad? Disgraceful.

That said, more bids for the other power conferences!

The Man in Gold

So Marquette falls 2 spots within the conference power rankings and Cincinnati is considered one of the "risers"?  The Big East section is very strange.
Captain, We need more sweatervests!  TheManInGold has been blinded by the light (off the technicolor sweatervest)

I'm thinking they forgot to put FALLING before Cincinnati since their description reads:

So much for that breakthrough year that everyone was predicting. The Bearcats have lost four of their last five games and still have three games left against Top 15 teams.

my assuption is cinci is a typo. All other leagues list 1 rising and one falling team. If you actually read what's said about Cinci: "So much for that breakthrough year that everyone was predicting. The Bearcats have lost four of their last five games and still have three games left against Top 15 teams." it indicates a falling team

Didn't they get thrashed by Cincy at home in Calhoun's first game back?

They did.  Two days later they won convincingly at Nova.  I think having Calhoun there is a big deal, but I don't have great evidence for that aside from their record with/without him.

UConn is actually a bit like Georgetown last year in that they should be really good, but instead are inconsistent.  UConn seems to have recovered from their collapse better, though.
