thanks for the link...it seems the big out lets tend to update on mandays in the PM.  Not that it matters a damn but nice to see the projections.  win 3 of 4 and all is good.

The stat that i have always followed is that in the last 10-15 years a 20 win team in a BCS conference with an RPI of 50 or less has been left out like once. 3 more wins acheives all those metrics.

it was absolutely not Providence.. Providence won 19 games last year and had an RPI of 72.

But it does speak to my point and the history....there was some argument thay should have could have made it yet they only had 19 wins and an rpi of 72.  now take a bcs team with 20 wins and a 50 rpi and you are in!
