We will be 15-point underdogs against a team that is much bigger and much quicker and plays a defense that should give us fits.

Vegas is only giving MU 10.  I disagree that a zone should give MU fits.  One bad shooting game doesn't make MU a poor shooting team.  The players know how to get open shots against a zone, and I don't think that Cuse's zone is particularly tricky.  Nor do they play particularly hard defense.  I would say that Cuse's size and athleticism will give us problems when we're on D, and that we should be able to take advantage of the zone to get open shots and some cheap offensive rebounds when we're on offense.  We've shown that we can win without getting points in the paint against Georgetown.  That being said, Syracuse is the most talented team we will play all year, and they're not burdened with as many head-cases as they normally are (Rautins replaces Devendorff and Wes Johnson replaces Paul Harris.)  The margin for error for a win is less than zero.  First time you've heard that.

The problem is not getting points in the paint (we're not going to get much of that)------the problem is to get into the paint off penetration to set up the trey off the inside pass back out for the catch and shoot-----that's how Cooby got all 6 of his treys vs GT.

Now Cuse presents more of a problem in getting the ball into the paint because they have a big bodied zone which shrinks the seams of the zone limiting penetration into the paint.

We will shoot 15-25 from 3 and beat Syracuse.

We have not won a road game yet this year. Syracuse has size we cannot handle. We lose this game by 30, if we shoot poorly on our three point shots.
