Game 19: Syracuse

Syracuse, N.Y. -- The Marquette Golden Eagles have accomplished plenty in their four-plus seasons in the Big East Conference.

Defeating the Syracuse Orange, however, isn't on that list. MU is 0-3 against Syracuse over that span, and lost the teams' only meeting as league foes at the Carrier Dome, 87-72, in 2008.

This season's version of the Orange is the best the Golden Eagles will have seen to this point, which certainly isn't good news for a team that enters 11-7 overall, 2-4 in the Big East and coming off one of their most embarrassing and inexplicable losses in recent memory -- a 51-50 decision at DePaul on Wednesday night that saw the Blue Demons snap their 24-game Big East losing streak.
