Recap: Wisconsin

Player of the game: Junior forward Jon Leuer was basically unstoppable for UW today, putting up a game-high 24 points on 9-for-14 shooting to go along with 12 rebounds in 38 minutes.

Leuer also blocked three shots and knocked down the only three-pointer he attempted. The Golden Eagles threw Jimmy Butler at him, but the junior forward, regarded as MU's best defender, struggled from the outset with Leuer's length and was kept off-balance all night as a result.

"I told our guys when Coach (Scott) Monarch initially brought up (Leuer) that I think he's a pro," said coach Buzz Williams. "I think he's improved for Wisconsin as much as Jimmy Butler has improved for Marquette. (Leuer) was really good off the bench last year. I told our guys, 'I don't know if you remember him, but he's really, really good.
