Defense was fa-nom-i-nal, great transition by me.

To whoever posts the player of the game, there is no way that butler is not the player of the game. He shut down harris when we needed it the most.

I vote DJO,but fine with anyone.  WE ARE MARQUETTE!

Guess they gave it to Lazar. I think this site needs to start making SoG a voted on award more.

I'm fine with Jimmy, but I wouldn't be opposed to vote for DJO.  He got us off to a great start in the first half and may have set the tempo for the entire game.

I typically am the one to choose the SoG.  In the first half I had my mind made up on it being DJO.  Then second half it was Butler.  But Lazar:
a.) was consistent all game
b.) drew the toughest assignment and still excelled
c.) gave the leadership we needed
d.) was previous SoG so wins any tiebreak
(plus yesterday was his birthday)

It was very, very tight though.  Loved Buycks' play too.  Love how we have such good results from the players that there's valid debate over it.  Hopefully it's a tough choice all season long (and for the right reasons).

What a team.  Hayward, Butler, DJO, and Buycks playing with Acker, Cubillan and Maymon generally rotating into the game to change the look is awesome.  Feel good about where they are and looking to see good improvement from Fulce, Mbao, and EWill.  I fully expect at least one of those three to truly step up and break out in the next 4-5 games or so.
