I have to say, this article is great.  Buzz acknowledges just about every tactical blunder from last year....I have to say I'm surprised, but pleasantly so.

This may have been posted a few days ago, but I didn't see it.   It's encouraging to know that he recognizes the mistakes made and hopefully he learns from them....that would be huge in his development as a coach.

Thanks for posting...I hadn't seen that. It is great to see that he's acknowledging supposed mistakes he made...let's hope he's not just a guy who remembers stuff well, but somebody who learns from mistakes!

I don't think the departed has ever said so much in his whole career as buzz did in one article.

Absolutely agree.  The key will be whether he learns from the mistakes, some of them were definitely of the rookie variety so I'm hopeful.

^^^ Agreed.

TC would publicly look forward, which can be seen as a good thing.

But Buzz...which is refreshing...is able to go through the moments STILL months later. I gotta respect that. It shows he's keyed in on game and, with more experience and tutelage, I believe he'll only get better.

Buzz knows he doesn't know everything, and he got lots of stuff whispered in his ear from Layer last year.  The fact he acknowledges his shortcomings (or what he thinks were shortcomings) is refreshing for sure, and a step on the path of someday, he will know most everything.

He is solid through and through - on and off the court.  Go Buzz, and Go Marquette!

The next time Crean admits he doesn't walk on water will be the first time.
