But I digress.  In my mind I keep picturing an 11-year old Vander shooting hoops, alone in the driveway:  "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, Devon has the ball, he splits two defenders, 4, 3, 2, he stops and pops, 1, swish, buzzer, the crowd goes wild as Devon takes the Badgers to the Final Four !!!!!!!!"

Vander belongs at the Kohl Center, living out his dreams.  We'd all welcome him here, a special hometown kid, just the way we welcomed Mike Flowers, watched him grow for 4 years, and become a stud player.  You can't get that kind of love anywhere else.

Come home Vander, and your hometown school will embrace you in the way you want and deserve.
