Is it a Marquette Player Exclusive?

I know the other shoe that's used widely by other players is the Wade Slash, but this one...I cannot find on-line.

It looks like Lazar is wearing it, too.

That was the shoe that Lazar stepped over the endline with.

As BoBo Ryan would probably say...Lazar wears a size 15; if he was a size smaller, his shoe would have never touched the line and we would never be having this conversation.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

I think the shoe is called the Wade Slash but is a MU version

I think he would have to wear a kids size 8 to not have stepped on the line.

Nope. That's not it.

They actually showed that one (BE Tourney version) in SLAM.

It was never released to the public.

I'll get a scan in here if I can.

That is the Converse Hops, it was a shoe from last season that a lot of their NBA players wore...actually Maurice Evans and Alando Tucker wore it some this year too.

I would have sworn that they were Redwings...

They're called "The Converse Hops" They came out during the 07-08 season but we wore them in white and blue.

Great name, Crean!  ;)

BTW, here are the shoes I was talking about: Converse Wade Slash "Big East Tournament" Player Exclusives.

Pretty slick.

But I looked at the pics I have of them and I don't recall anyone wearing them!

On a separate note...

The Wade 1 is going to be reissued in limited quantities.

IF you cared...  ;)
