D. Wade in The Times
« on: April 17, 2009, 03:15:56 PM »
Something of a pre-playoff valentine, gently discussing his personal problems:

Key passage:

Wade’s best performance in his six N.B.A. seasons has come during one of the worst stretches in his personal life, as he deals with the end of his marriage, the distance from his children and the dismantling of his choir-boy image in the press.

“I got married at 20 years old because I wanted to be perfect,” Wade said. “But life’s not perfect. As you get older, you see that. You’ve just got to make the best of situations.”
