After a year on the job, I'm more than happy with the Buzz hire.  I was originally hesitant because I didn't like the process; however, the coaching job he did this year, and the recruiting class he has coming in makes me optimistic.  Watching Xavier and Washington State this year didn't make me believe they had anything MU didn't when considering the combo of a coach needing to coach and recruit.  I still believe you can judge a coach on two things:

1. Wins
2. Coach and player etiquette

Considering the circumstances I thought Buzz did well, and he should only get better.  I'm looking forward to next year!

Can't tell very much yet.   The real tests start now and we'll see if he can build his own program.

I think you can tel.  He took a very undersized group that he did not recruit and was was within a hair of the Sweet 16.  My kudos to Buzz.

Don't know why people are so anxious to claim his great or bad.  Give it time we'll know if he can build and maintain a program in a couple years.

I agree with all who say it is way too soon to determine where Buzz stands.  He did a good job coaching this year's team, and he has what appears to be a very solid class coming in.

I don't think we'll begin to fully understand what we have for at least two years from now, unless next year's team makes the NCAAs, in which case we definitely got a winner.

But, so far, so good.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.
